Ok, I know I am supposed to be working, replenishing my stock for next week, cleaning the house, working on the laundry, ignoring the “bookkeeping”.

Best you keep that to yourself or Sr. Mary here might see fit to box your ears.

What you might not believe (if you have the intelligence of a kumquat) is that the inside of my wallet looks just like this.  Yessss!  I have three weeks of pre-show receipts all balled up in there waiting to be set atop this very pile you see before you.

And then from there I will proceed to ignore the whole  mess until 15 days after the first quarter of this year, whereupon I will begin to worry about ignoring them for about 10 or so days and then, well then the real ignoring begins and I procrastinate for about 15 more days until finally I break down (literally) and organize everything and figure out how to do the damn quarterlies and for crying out loud I’m going to need stiff amounts of alcohol and complete quiet for an entire weekend…and don’t forget the #2’s.

I’m dreading it, but not enough to tackle this mess today. Or tomorrow even.

Here we are at the Festival. We are right across the street from Dale’s Indian Cuisine, so I am hoping when Dale fires up the old stove the smell will waft over and cover the ripe smell of my armpits which I have forgotten to deodorize.

Hello to all, and to anyone stopping by here from the Greenville Pirate Fest.  It’s still early morning but we are looking to get a gorgeous day!  I will be posting some pics from my iphone, so stay tuned!

Just needed to make things easy to update in the hopes that I can keep up with them. The jay-oh-bee is looking pretty iffy right now, not sure where that’s going to go in terms of employment, but even if things head south I am hoping that by getting all my beady stuff online and turning it up a notch I can at least eek out some sort of existence.

I love Sundays.  I will often lounge around and read in bed for awhile – the husband is off to work early on Sundays, so I have the place to myself.

Today I will be working on getting ready for SPARKCon next week in Raleigh.  I’ll be at the Pour House on Blount St.  It’s the Art Factory opening, I’m pretty excited!  This is an ART show, so I’ve got to get my set up looking more raw and arty and less arts and crafty, know what I mean?  I need some help….hm…

Anyway, I’m also trying to get some new beads up and on the website, I’ve got some great ones to photograph with my new tabletop studio…
